David Pietig, Arlington's General Manager, has earned the Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) Certification from the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA).
To become a CEA Appraiser, inductees must conform in all respects to the AMEA Code of Ethics, the AMEA Standards and Procedures of Professional Appraisal Ethics and Practice, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
David has taken the 15-Hour USPAP course and passed the comprehensive exam, maintains 70 hours of continuing education credits every five years, and has one appraisal reviewed and approved by the AMEA Review Committee every two years. Continued involvement in buying, selling, and/or appraising of used machinery and equipment in the marketplace is what gives AMEA certified appraisers the knowledge and experience to provide accurate appraisals.
David has 20 years of industrial equipment experience - specializing in the purchase, sale, liquidation, and valuation of plants, machinery, and related industrial assets. He has extensive experience relative to production blow molding, blown film, extrusion, injection molding, and thermoforming machinery, in addition to the full range of ancillary and support equipment common to the plastics processing industry.
